Heartbreaking Win! We WON the Game...LOST the Season?

Dawgs Win In Overtime!

Any road victory in the SEC is a good victory. Beating Tennessee on the road is a good win. When you consider you had to play the game without your two best running backs (Gurley and Marshall) and without three of your top four receivers (Bennett, Scott-Wesley, Mitchell) it makes the win unbelievable.

Then take into account with all of those players down the Bulldogs needed to drive 75 yards with less than two minutes left to score a TD to force the game into overtime? IMPOSSIBLE. But Aaron Murray led the Bulldog down the field and then Marshall Morgan hit the game winning field goal in overtime. Georgia escaped...barely. But even after that victory you can't help but think that the season may be lost. Marshall and Scott-Wesley are definitely done for the season.

The news might possibly be a little better for Michael Bennett but he is likely not going to play at least for a couple weeks. Regardless of whether or not Bennett plays any more this season the Bulldogs are definitely now without 4 of their top 6 playmakers on offense for the rest of the season. Plain and simple it was a devastating victory.
